Who feels it knows it.
Ya girl is tired. We are halfway through the semester and a few months away from the New Year. It’s that point in the year where we are just ready to be done. Simply put mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted. Although the payoff is good in the end, the pursuit of excellence and “securing the bag” is a lot of work and energy.
In my own state of fatigue, I’ve been reflecting on what it means to be tired and the first thing that came to mind was the phrase, “sleep is for the weak.” This made me wonder if somehow there was a relation between weakness and weariness. Could this mean that a lack of vivaciousness correlates with some sort of character defect? Frankly, I’m too tired to even begin to dissect this complex question, but here is what I know: Isaiah 40:29-31 New International Version (NIV).

Sometimes we get so caught up in the banal routine of everyday life and chasing our dreams that we forget about resting. Personally, I’ve always struggled with taking naps because I feel that the time I spent sleeping I could be doing something more productive that will propel me into my purpose. But as much as I would like to put off resting and ignore the signs that I need to re-energize, my body certainly makes it clear that it is tired and what use is of a tired body gal?
Realizing that, I came to the conclusion that perhaps resting is essential to living a purposeful life. What good is it if I put off taking an hour nap to finish an assignment that would most likely have a ton of simple grammatical errors? Essentially, what I’m saying and going to do is just take a break and rest. Productivity isn’t defined by how much you get accomplished in a particular amount of time, but how well you accomplished it. With that being said, optimal productivity requires high energy that is fueled by adequate sleep.
Go Rest!
Take some time to become rejuvenated.
While you are refueling, He will renew your strength and revitalize your body. The end is near and we are going to finish off strong. So maybe, just maybe sleep = strength.
Yes I totally agree, while we rest our physical body we are being rejuvenated and likewise while we rest spiritually in God, he will work out everything for us.
Yes, maybe Sleep = Strength
