Hello! I’m Denisha, the creator and writer of Up & Above.

I’m a 20-something-year-old living in the MidWest trying my best to walk into my purpose. I was born and raised in the tropics on the island of New Providence, Bahamas. I enjoy, writing, reading, fashion and going to the beach, but most of all I am dedicated to faith.

More than anything else, I’m passionate about discovering my purpose. My goal here is to encourage you to do the same or join this journey as we navigate these waves of life together.

Up & Above was inspired by one of my favorite phrases, “above and not beneath” and also by my passion to write. This blog is an outlet for me to be real and share my personal experiences and thoughts on beauty, relationships, faith, finding purpose and living life above expectations.
